It seems as though there is never a moment where Marin isn’t on his bike- working as a bike messenger by day, Marin has cemented himself within the ultra-distance race scene over the past 7 years.

After making his debut in competitive cycling at the 2017 Transcontinental Race, Marin swiftly ascended through the ranks. He established a Fastest Known Time (FKT) and clinched victory at the gruelling Hope1000 race in the Swiss Alps, in addition to winning the Further Pyrenees race.

Back in 2019, Marin travelled 8000km to Kyrgystan by bike to then finish 9th place at Silk Road Mountain Race. A huge feet with the aspiration to encourage riders to be more conscious of their environmental footprint when traveling to races. This year, he plans to cycle from his home in Switzerland to the start lines of The Atlas Mountain Race, Hellenic Mountain Race and Silk Road Mountain Race – and race all of them…
