The Tour Divide is a 2,745 mile off-road ultra race that follows a set back country trail, known as the Great Divide Route, along the ‘rooftop of North America’, from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico.

Recognised and respected by riders across multiple disciplines, the race has an identity that is known to mountain bikers, bikepackers and ultra-racers alike as the ultimate in off-road distance racing, and one of the pinnacles of the ultra-racing calendar at large.

As such, Apidura riders and Adventure Syndicate team members Lee Craigie and Rickie Cotter – both veterans of many a testing mountain bike race – have made the journey to Banff for the 2017 edition of the race, starting on Friday 9th June.

Just before leaving, with her Shand Bahookie bike all packed up and ready to go, Lee dropped into Apidura HQ on her way to the airport in order to pick up a one-off Full Frame Pack that our team had custom-made for her to use at the race.

We decided to take the moment to have a closer look at Lee’s setup.
