Ulrich's approach to minimalist packing over the course of the last couple of years continues with his kit list for the Transcontinental Race. The race is the definitive self-supported bicycle race across Europe which for the 2022 race starts in Belgium and finishes in Bulgaria. It's a free route race connected by mandatory sections which will test not only riders' physiques but their route planning and logistic skills. Crossing a whole continent is certainly challenging but even so Ulrich has forgone some comfort in favour of low weight and high speed.
