Mid Level Full-Stack Developer

Apidura is looking for a Mid Level Full-Stack Developer with PHP experience to join its London team.

 

Reporting to the technical lead, this role offers a diverse and interesting opportunity for an individual to develop themselves as a key part of the digital team. This position will suit a candidate with excellent technical ability who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a purpose-lead direct to consumer sports brand.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Suggesting, developing and implementing functionalities that optimise and simplify processes.
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, reliability, and quality of our websites.
  • Helping to maintain Apidura’s websites, keeping them up-to-date, secure and optimised.
  • Implementing new functionalities and UX changes to the existing websites, working closely with the wider digital and design team.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Developing new functionalities and explore evolving technologies.
  • Implementing good UI/UX based on needs.
  • Communicating with the team to their needs with your technical know-how.

 Skills

Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experience in PHP, MySQL, pure JavaScript – Jquery, HTML5, SCSS.
  • Experience with WordPress or a similar platform (ideally combined with ACF plugin).
  • Knowledge in Responsive front-end design, with cross browser compatibility.
  • Have an understanding and use of JSON/AJAX.
  • Website speed optimisation techniques and best practices.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API.
  • Experience with code management tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of Web security.
  • Knowledge of Composer.
  • Experience with:  Webpack / API / Docker / Reacts will be beneficial but not essential.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in computer sciences.
  • Candidate must be authorised to work in the UK.
  • Interest in the outdoors sector is a plus.
  • Woocommerce experience  is a plus.
