Operations and Logistics Controller

Apidura is looking for a highly motivated Operations and Logistics Controller to join its London team.

 

This role will support with the overall management of Apidura’s logistics and supply chain operations, from raw goods to delivered finished products. This position will suit a candidate with a methodical, detailed-oriented numeric approach to their work and an interest in working for a purpose-lead endurance sports brand.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Coordinate with Apidura’s transportation and warehouse partners.
  • Leading day- to-day communications with Apidura’s warehouse alongside the Customer Service Team.
  • Working closely with other team members in understanding, managing and improving the flow of information to and from these partners, through Apidura’s proprietary SQL database system.
  • Investigating, troubleshooting and solving logistic issues across the company.
  • Owning and improving outbound shipping and returns processing.

 Skills

  • The ability to work independently, find and fix problems as well as manage own goals.
  • Be comfortable working in an agile, entrepreneurial small business.
  • Be highly organised with excellent problem-solving traits and an adaptable approach to work.
  • Have a strong numeric approach to problem solving.
  • Be comfortable with various WMS, SQL databases, Power BI reporting and MS Excel.

 

Experience

  • 1-2 years in a similar or transferable role.
  • Come from a background that may include roles as a supply chain planner, logistics or operational controller or a stock and supply focused merchandiser.
  • Experience working within a small-medium sized team.

 

Additional Requirements

  • French language skills would be a significant advantage.
  • Candidate must be authorised to work in the UK.
  • Bikepacking or cycle touring experience and the passion to become an expert in this area are a plus.
